i'm constantly amazed at what words are swear words here in the UK - i
would've thought "ass" was okay. my partner's kids arean't allowed to
say "fart" at school, and consequently use "pump" instead, which
literally makes me gag, because it implies something much more, erm,
liquid. we had a conversation about what words are swear words as a
result, which i found very enlightening. on the down side, they now
shout "Tabernacle" and "sacre-bleu".
