i've never really "responded to an online solicitation". it's just that
all my friends and aquaintances are usenet and LJ people. and romance
usually starts off with friend****p, or at least friendofafriend****p. so
if all of usenet reckoned i was celibate i probably wouldn't ever even
get chatted up.
