I think the best way to attack the problem is on the voter side of 
things.  If we have a transparent voting process and make sure that only 
people who have an active interest in convergence (whatever that might 
mean) can vote, then 'bad' bids (whatever that might mean) should be 
filtered out by the process without Cabal intervention.  I mean if we 
cannot trust the convergence going net.goth community to select where 
they want to party then who can we trust.  Stop the ballot box stuffing 
by people who got signed up at their local club night and hopefully the 
problem will take care of itself.
