There's this subconscious understanding that everything in the South is 
"hick".  Atlanta (or NOLA, for that matter) doesn't help combat that 
because it's so far from the North and the Midwest.  Maybe if Charlotte 
catches up...

OTOH, I think he might be referring to where Sheila Marie is from--I 
dunno.
