They won't do it.
20 years ago they had the chance to install "on demand" cd burners in
retail brick and mortar stores. They didn't take it, didn't under stand
it, Were afraid it would mess up their business model.
10 years ago they could have just bought napster or somehow released
their own verison. They didn't do it.
They could still do something smart like release their back catalog on
mp3, they won't do it.
The main reason I stopped buying cds is that I couldn't find anything
worth a ****, but I could get it online.
