I have no objection to this myself - I'm perfectly happy hanging
around in the hotel bar all weekend - but I think it's im****tant for
people to understand that if we implement that rule, there will be no
more band nights. No shuttle buses or other extras either.

ALL previous Convergences have advertised to locals. It's how the
party got paid for. If people don't want non-regulars attending that's
fine, but it will mean a very large change in the shape of the event.
