Considering the alternatives, Bush was the better choice both times. 
Seeing how Gore went nuts after the 2000 elections, and there is video 
to prove it, we are fortunate he lost.

How many miles do you drive in a month?  I work out of my basement and 
fill the tank in my Explorer about once a month.  I burn about 12 
gallons a month how about you?

I work from home.  Where do you work?  How much energy does it take for 
you to occupy space at you place of employment compared to me?

You are part of the problem by your own admission and actions.  You 
should go and commit suicide and contribute to the solution.  I don't 
have an issue with the way I choose to live and I bet I live just as 
green as you.  In general, we humans are very arrogant.  You really 
think we can control the planet's environment?  Are you really that 
concerned with making the planet better for our children?  What exactly 
is better?  Lowering our standard of living?  Giving up our personal 
freedoms for more governmental controls of our lives?  One person's 
"better" is another person's "worse" so don't impose your values on me 
at my expense in dollars and life style.

The Earth doesn't give a **** about what we do in our moment in the sun 
as a species.  The Earth will be moving on with or without us and life 
will continue with or without us.  If you want to see what is in store 
for the Earth's future just look at the past.  There will be another 
major asteroid/comet impact that will obliterate life across the globe. 
  There will be another horrific series of volcanic eruptions that will 
do the same.  There might be a cosmic ray burst to radiate most life on 
the planet and cause mass extinctions.  There will DEFINITELY be another 
ice age that will plow New York City into the Atlantic Ocean and it will 
be hear relatively soon in geologic time.

The only thing that keeps six billion people alive on this planet is our 
technology.  When anything happens that sets that back in a major way, 
we will be dying by the billions.  You worry about global warming?  Get 
a grip because global warming is the least of our worries.  If true, and 
it is a BIG if, maybe global warming will buy us some more time before 
the ice age hits.  You think warming is bad wait until the glaciers 
decide to take a trip to Kansas City.
