timing is everything
i was playing bridge with a lady in Torquay. she was going to drive
back to Manchester, leaving me at Knutsford services, but she said we
must watch England before we left. the hotel where we stayed at a big
TDV so we returned there to watch.
sometime in the game Beckham took a free-kick, the ball curled, the
keeper just got his hands to it and ....
the screen froze, saying "bad signal". :)))
it was two minutes before we got the picture back, with a heated
argument going on as to whether England had scored or not!!!
