well, i suppose it had to happen. my internet activity has grown too
large, and i am reducing it. i have enjoyed reading twelve newsgroups
for many years, but I am now going to halve that.
i cannot remember who suggested alue after i was chased off demon.local
by the rudeness, but thanks. i have enjoyed many years of this NG. i
always liked the greeting: pull up a dead mouse.
sadly i only met other people once. i enjoyed it, and thought we got on
together: a meeting in Leeds. however, it was suggested to me not to
try again. i never understood why nor what i had done. when there has
been talk of Tring i have been tempted, but not knowing what happened in
Leeds has meant - only that once.
of course if anyone wants to email me for any reason, feel free. I
shall also, as a matter of politeness, give this thread a few days
before finally going.
