If churches believe that marriage sanctioned by them will
reduce infidelity/promiscuity/***ually transmitted diseases
evn in the case of same *** marriages, they are being
spiritually negligent by not sanctioning those same ***
marriages.   There is also some evidence that marriage
may reduce the indidence of drug and alcohol use and
that combined incomes lead to more free income for charity.

(That was just a quick reply for today and I won't check
followups since yesterday until tomorrow.)

(oops, I just resent this because my computer date was off again
in the last post so it might show up way back in the newsgroup
article list and might expire earlier, hence this repeat
after I fixed the date and time on this machine)
