It's been a most rotten holiday for me. I hate tropical climates and
wonder
now why I bothered to agree to go. <Haiti> The only plus to this little
jaunt was getting to meet an oungan friend of the friends I went with, and
getting to observe their rituals. <Which was fascinating for me, but a
little intimidating for Douglas.> It will take me weeks to fully recover
from the heat, I think. But I managed to miss the 100 degree F weather in
****tland by a day or two. :)
