Ok, gotcha. I think for some, though,
Wicca/Witchcraft/Insert-Pagan-Path-Of-Choice isn't about service. It's
not
something they think about. Some might think in terms of "wor****p" but
not
"service". So it doesn't entirely surprise me that some people, such as
your former coven mates, have difficulty with having a good grasp of
service
or what it means to others.
Out of curiosity though, were these people running this thing "true"
Gardnerians, i.e., people who had been initiated into a coven that can
link
it's heritage back to Gardner's original coven? Supposedly this is the
only
way to be a "true" Gardnerian Wiccan.
