Happy new year to all the folk here!
So I'm not that familiar with China, but Japan seems to have more of
a general affinity with fur than Western countries. I'm thinking of
things like fursuits for kids, and more of a general connection with
animals. In Matsumoto Taiyo's manga "No. 5" one of the main (adult)
characters rather inexplicably runs around all the time dressed as a
bunny...
