The Australian furry scene is infact four furry scenes clustered
around verious cities.

The brisbane scene is centered around furry share houses such as
westhaven, sanctuary, #couchcam and The Den.  Its signature event is
rivfur.

The sydney scene is a younger scene that after a number of rather
disastrous encounteres with the less mentally and morally stable is
currently rather touchy.  Its signature event are called furjams and
happen whenever someone orginizes them.

The Melbourne scene I can't comment on as I haven't been involved in
them.  Its signature event is midfur (Melbourne in December FURmeet)
and is also australia's premier furry gathering which this year is
attempting to ****ft from gathering to convention.

There is also (or was) a Perth scene, I can't comment on it exect to
say that most of the other scences seem to poche there members.

Also there are a few scattered furs in tasminia (Tim and Boodie (who
don't have any contact with each other)), Dubbo and Adelaide.
