"Demographic angst"... Aye... I know exactly what you mean, especially 
for when furries meet IRL. However, it tends to be a minority who let 
down the rest, and in my experience, the rest have been pretty 
reasonable people to hang around with and I've enjoyed their company. At 
furmeets I'll just ignore the annoying, emo, whingy bastards.
