I would have posted this here sooner, but I completely forgot about this
group. Sorry.
As many of you may know, the World of Gor/Gorean Group will no longer be
publi****ng reprints and new editions of John Norman's Gor books. While
disappointing, it does not necessarily mean the end of all hope for seeing
the Gor series back in print.
I've been giving this some thought and I think I have an idea that may
have
at least some merit......a letter writing campaign. If we all send email
and
letters to Norman's agent Richard Curtis expressing our interest in seeing
new Gor books and the old books back in print, maybe, just maybe, it will
happen.
Given the current state of technology with various "print on demand"
providers available I think this is doable. I've drafted a brief letter to
Mr. Curtis that I will be sending by both email and snail mail. I've
included a copy of it below. Please feel free to use it if you wish or
compose your own, but if you really want more Gor PLEASE send something,
preferably by both email and snail mail.
I would also urge people to post this message or a similar message on all
the various Gorean boards they are familiar with to help spread the word
and
get as many letters sent to Mr. Curtis as possible. We have a voice, let's
use it to make our desires known to the person that can actually do
something about them.
Oh, and maybe we could use "We Want More Gor" as the subject for emails
and
maybe print that prominently somewhere on the envelope for snail mail.

As a loyal fan of John Norman's Gor series I was disappointed to learn
that
The Gorean Group/World of Gor will no longer be publi****ng the reprints
and
new editions of these books. I very much want to see all of Mr. Norman's
works back in print and I especially want to see new books in the Gor saga
(such as "Prize of Gor") made available. With your contacts among the
various "print on demand" services I would think this an achievable dream.
I
respectfully request that as Mr. Norman's agent you do everything within
your power to bring these wonderful stories back to life.
