I can't get the link to work with my minimal internet connection.
Is this the 'card at any location' effect? I see it uses a precision
gimmick of some sort.
There are LOTS of ways to accomplish this effect both with and without
a gimmick.
An excellent non-gimmick method is simply to control the card to the
top of the deck, then ask for a number to be called out (between 1 and
52). 'Second deal' down to that number then deal off the top card.
It's 100% accurate.
Even if you're second deal is no good you can still do this if your
careful. After the card is controlled to the top just injog it a half-
inch or so. Hold the deck toward you a little more to hide this fact
(called neck-tying the deck). Then simply deal that second card until
you get to the number called out. Square up the deck and deal the top
card.
Entire books have been written on the ANY CARD AT ANY NUMBER card
trick. I assure you, no gimmicks are needed to pull this off, and
quite frankly are very amaturish (similar to the Card Catcher--and
other garbage that fills dealer catalogs).
