Ormond McGill's Books

by mitchell_leary <mitchell_leary@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 11, 2008 at 11:53 AM

I'd post this over in the hypnosis group but they're a bunch of snobs
with phoney-baloney degrees most of them made on their PCs (yes, the
software exists for creating any degree you want and you can't tell
them from the real thing...transcripts too!)

I just bought Ormond McGill's NEW ENCYCLOPEDIA OF HYPNOTISM and it's
fantastic (and HUGE!!!). This should be a standard textbook in every
magician's library. More secrets per page than the last 50 magic
books I've read. And this is stuff you'll use, not just in magic but
in everyday life.

The sections on handling spectators is worth the price of the book
alone.

Another Ormond McGill book you'll definately want to find is titled
HOW TO PRODUCE MIRACLES. I think (and secretly hope) it's out-of-
print. If you ever wondered where guys like Kentoon Knepper gets his
material, this is the book...he's even lifted the illustrations and
put them in his own books. This book contains some incredible
material that I've never ever seen in any magic book I've read (I
think I've read around 6000+ magic books in my life...just about all
of them).

The hypnosis book is around $60, which is the average price of a new
magic book these days. You get far more than your moneys worth. This
book delivers 1000% over the goal post!
