I found it in an old issue of Ibidem (issue 11, September 1957). I
tried it and it works.
It's for the comedy MC or just a funny thing to do to begin your act.
Walk out on stage with your eye gl***** (Drew Carey heavy black rimmed
type) in one hand and a piece of paper in the other.
You begin to put your gl***** on but notice a speck of dust. You blow
on the speck and bubbles fly out the front.
The method should be fairly obvious. Before you walk out onstage you
dip the frame in the "Bubble Stuff" liquid. Walk on and proceed with
the above. Construct your own patter.
Alternatively, if it's going to be awhile before you perform this
stunt you could have the container of liquid in your outer breast
pocket. You can find flat plastic container of all sorts at the drug
store in the womens department.
