I'm advertising a book i'm trying to bid on thank you! ...but since I
started, it's called "the magic of jimmy grippo", most of the time the
price is $200 and up for it since it is no longer in print. I mainly
want it not for the effects, but because he was also once a street
magician as well. For the $200 price range, i'd rather get something
signed by vernon or something worth that amount.
Jimmy is a master at card indexing (as demonstrated). Kenton Knepper
has a great effect in print called Klossal Killer that fits in your
wallet that kills & falls along the same principle.
If you want a good study to the effects you saw, there is a book that
Mark Lewis recommended that probably falls in my top ten, if not the
top FIVE favorite card books of all time. "Outs, Challenges and
Precautions". The book is usually $5 or less if you google it. If you
read it, I -guarantee- you'll NEVER screw up a card trick again. As a
matter of fact, you'll savor the moment when a card trick goes awry.
If some jag off takes your deck, shuffles it, selects a card, places
it back, and shuffles it, there is NO reason why you should not be
able to find his card. as a matter of fact, "oh look! it's under my
drink..."
