VISION- Patrick Samuel Smith- $25- Simple, astoni****ng, and
easy to do! Great for Magic Shows or Mental Acts. You'll amaze people
with this truly stunning effect!
Show nine jumbo cards, each printed with a different two-digit number.
Two spectators mentally select one of the numbers. The performer marks
down his impressions on two blank cards, which are kept on display the
entire time.
When the spectators--for the first time--tell which numbers they were
thinking of, the performer shows his cards, proving that in each case
he has correctly read their thoughts! Complete with cards, marker,
card stand, and a booklet of three different routines.
2. MIS-MADE QUEEN- M.B. Escover- $14 - A Jumbo Queen of Hearts is
palced in a folder with several cut-outs so that she can be seen
inside. The magician slides the middle of the card out to the side in
a ZIG ZAG like manner. The middle section is then completely removed
and then passed through the center of the folder. You then put it back
incorrectly. The Queen is now seen with the middle section on the back
of the card and the back design in her center. The effect is repeated
to correct the error. The card is then removed from the folder in one
piece.
3. 3D A prediction that Floats- Mark Parker -$25 -
4. Joker Poker- Jose de la Torre-$25 - Recounting a story of a
poker game, you show a giant poker hand with three sixes. Noticing the
player on your right having three sevens, you discard one of the sixes
and receive an eight. You now magically change all the cards into
eights. When you notice the player on your left has three nines, you
discard an eight and pick-up a Joker. But, to your dismay all the
cards turn into jokers -- not just their faces -- but their backs as
well. Yes it's true, all faces and backs are shown as Jokers. You are
left with only three cards with no trace of any sixes, eights, or back
designs.
5. The Enchanted Picture- $5 - Performer displays a large picture
(approx. 12" high and 7.5" wide), with some dried shrubs in a flower
pot. The back of the picture has a standard playing card back design.
With a magic pass the picture changes to one of the flower pot filled
with colourful flowers. Very easy to perform, this works on a novel
application of an old method, and will fool many in the audience
familiar with the normal changing card methods. An attractive eye
catching prop at a modest price.
6. THE GHOST CARD- Samuel Patrick Smith- $15- The best trick with
gimmicked cards ever invented !Show a spectator six jumbo cards. He
THINKS of one. When you count the cards into his hand, he sees the
front and back of each card, but his card is missing! What card was he
thinking of? You reach into your pocket and pull out his selection!
Suitable for stage or close-up.
7. Magic Spell- Dan Harlen- $5 - A complete set of alphabet cards are
displayed and then mixed by the magician and four spectators. The
cards are dealt face-down into a large square on the table. Five cards
are randomly chosen by the spectators through elimination. Although
the magician had no control over the situation, the letters selected
will spell MAGIC.
8. Center Tear with 6 refills-$15- A newspaper is folded and the
center of the paper is torn out. It is then torn into small pieces.
The paper is then unfolded and can be seen whole again!
9. DOG GONE SURPRISE- $15 - The performer shows 2 cards front and
back. The audience is asked to concentrate on one object. With the
backs facing the audience passing the cards in front of each other,
the dog changes cards. This is repeated until the dog disappears and
turns into a hot dog!
10. KLING RING- Arthur Emerson- $15- Inexpensive, one size fits all
magnetic ring
11. BILL BOARD- Larry White - $20 - Pin 4 play money bills and your
real bill on this clipboard. Hold it behind your back. Five spectators
secretly remove the bills in any order. Yet, you always know who took
your bill!
12. REALLY HAUNTED- Doug Edwards- $12 - The concept of the Haunted
Deck had been marketed over 60 years ago by Lou Tannen. Since then
numerous methods developed, utilizing magnets, wires, longer strings,
reels, etc.
A deck of cards is genuinely and openly shuffled. It is spread out and
an absolutely free choice of a card is made. It is then returned to
the deck in a completely fair and aboveboard manner that allays
suspicion. No breaks are held and the deck is perfectly squared. If
that weren't enough, the cards are immediately spread on the table
showing no apparent control. After the deck is gathered up, an
"invisible hair" is wrapped around it - and pulled upon - thus causing
the upper half to move eerily and mysteriously revealing the selected
card.
13. HOVER'S CARD- Harlen- $15 - A playing card floats gently off of
the deck and hovers above it.. It comes to a rest balanced upon one
corner. Motion to the card and it floats back onto the deck.
14. ELEMENTARY WATSON- $5 - Great rick using a regular deck and
special cards with pictures of Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick
Watson.
15. CHINESE MIRROR- Dave Powell- $5 - Clever trick that uses a mirror
and a prediction card with a hidden message on it.
16. THE PILLARS OF THOR- Tenyo T-170- $10 - Tenyo 1995, A length of
string runs between the two, absolutely separate PILLARS OF THOR.
Placing the pillars together, the string is cut with a playing card.
Yet by pulling one end of the string, the other end moves. Then with a
magic wave the string is restored.
17. TANDEM BICYCLES-Larry White- $20- A full size deck of playing
cards is removed from the case.The empty case is placed to the side in
full view. Later, this same case is found to contain a quantity of
coins, silks, sponge balls, rope or a mini deck.
18. MAGIC ID- Dave Powell- $8 - A chosen card becomes sealed inside
your photo ID.
19. ALTERED STATES- David Regal- $9 - An easy-to-do, offbeat card
routine that never fails to impress. A card, selected from a blue-
backed deck and signed across its face by a spectator is torn in half.
One half is placed in a blue card box and the other in a red card box.
The spectator's partial signature is on the face of both halves. The
card boxes are shaken and the cards dumped out. The half that came out
of the blue box still has a blue back, but the card out of the red box
now has a red back. The two halves fit together and so do the two
parts of the signature. Everything can be immediately examined and the
two half-cards can be given to spectators as souvenirs.
20. ACES WITHOUT FACES- SCOTT HART- $15- A packet of cards are shown.
The top card is turned up to show a card without a face. The card is
flipped over and a spectator is told to place their finger on it. You
then turn the deck over and display 4 aces. Rub the cards on your
sleeve. When the aces are displayed, one ace has vanished from the
face of the card. This is repeated 3 more times and each ace vanishes
without a trace. Next, each ace returns to the face. Now one final
rub, all four aces vanish without a trace. When the spectator lifts
their finger, all four aces have collected on one face.
21. LAS VEGAS DILEMMA-$15- Powerful effect using Elmsley count
22. SPIN THE BOTTLE- Ariel Frailich- $12- A selected card disappears
from the deck and reappears inside an empty bottle.
23. ULTRA POKER DEAL- FEDKO-$10 - Jumbo card magic
24. ULTRA COLLECTORS- Don England- $10- Three cards are selected and
lost in the deck are found instantly by the four tens! Requires
minimum sleight of hand.
25. ULTIMATE CARD WRAP- $12 - Two cards are shown; let's say the red
seven of hearts and the blue eight of hearts. The seven is folded in
half and the blue eight is folded lengthwise. The seven is placed
inside the eight and turned back inside out. The eight passes through
the seven and becomes the seven. At the end you show that the seven
and eight have merged into one card.
26. LINKING KEY- $6 - A Key magically comes off and penetrates onto a
solid steel key ring.
27. THE CARDICIAN'S DREAM- Vincenzo Di Fatta- $8 - The magician has a
spectator choose a card and shows a prediction that is erroneous.
Heating the prediction card with a flame allows the audience to see
the card change into the chosen card right before their eyes.
28. CHANGELINGS- Russell Lewis- $20 - Spectator peeks at 2 cards. When
the deck is spread out it becomes all the same as the first peek card.
When the second peeked card is put on top of the deck, the deck
changes to all of the same as the second card.
29. THE ENEMY HAS COME- Nobuaki Nambu- $9 - A brand new picture card
trick that combines routines.
30. THE PHANTOM KEY- TENYO for Milton Bradley- $10- A borrowed coin is
put in a case. A metal key slides right through. When the coin is
removed it is good as new!

32. THE REAL SECRET OF BLINDFOLDS- Sterling magic-$5- All you need to
know to do a blindfold drive or a complete act of seeing with the
fingers.
33. PAPER TO BILLS- $5 -five pieces of blank paper are shown to change
into real money bills!
34. CLOWNING AROUND- Magical Mysteries- $20 - Great trick for clowns
as well. Show 5 cards with pictures of clowns on them. They magically
become rabbits dressed as magicians.
35. GIANT CERVON MONTE- Bruce Cervon- $10 - Classic Monte with Jumbos
36. CARTOON CAPER- Perry Maynard- $15 - Wonderful card trick using
pictures of Bugs Bunny and friends.
37. DECEPTION DECK- $10- A card is selected. The cards are then spread
out to show the backs and find that one card has changed color. You
bring it to the top and it is the selected card. The card is flipped
over and given to the spectator revealing that the card has instantly
changed back to its original state. You then show that the whole deck
is all one card! But with a cut of the deck, it returns to a normal
deck of cards.
38. HOME RUN- RONYO-$5- show a miniature baseball bat and ball. The
bat has a hole in it. Place the ball in it and swing away. The ball
stays in. When the spectators try is the ball always drops out!
39. PENTAQUIN- CORINDA-$5 - 5 cards are placed face up. 5 other cards
are given out face down explaining that they are duplicates of the
cards on the table. The 5 cards are shuffled and the dealt one card,
face down, onto each of the face up cards. When the cards are turned
over, to utter astonishment of the spectators, all the cards have been
correctly paired.
40. FINANCIAL ATTRACTION- Dab Harlen-$15 - A borrowed bill clings to
your fingertips, flies through the air and defies gravity. Can be
examined. No reset.
41. PIN UP GIRL- $5 - Mind Reading. Four photos are shown. A spectator
thinks of any one. The performer then proves that he also thought of
the same girl. Sensational!
42. KEY RUPTION- AL Cohen- $12- Al Cohen's routine for Bob Solari's
signed bill in key case.
43. THE RIVERBOAT GAMBLER'S CARD TRICK- 4 CARD MONTE- $5- Jumbo
44. I'LL SHOW YOU HOW IT IS DONE- Bob Brown- $5- Uses Jumbo cards.

45. CHEEK TO CHEEK-$6 - Selected card is found face up when the deck
is fanned out face down.
46. PROPHECY PACK- David Regal-$15 - A prediction is written on a
piece of paper and handed to a spectator for safe keeping. A deck of
cards is shown front and back. The spectator shuffles and cuts the
deck as often as he likes. The spectator cuts the deck into four
piles. The spectator selects one of the piles. The spectator turns
over the top card of his chosen pile. Amazingly the selected card
matches your prediction. People have started religions with less!
