What a lovely collection of Factual Claims. How nice to start with
something that has no factual basis whatever.
Sorry, I mean, would someone kindly cite the well-known (but not to me)
actual physical evidence for a flood 28.000 years ago? Like evidence of
old coastlines and things? Myths and legends don't count, since they are
not in fact especially accurate over long periods and simply do not exist
past a few thousand years ago. But maybe that's debatable; all I really
ask for is the kind of objective physical evidence we have for, say, the
explosion of Mount Mazama (which actually is preserved in local legends)
or the flooding of the Black Sea (which, much later, is a very very highly
dubious source for Flood legends in the Near East) or the making of the
Columbia River Gorge (which is *not* recorded in local legend, having
happened, it would seem, too long ago).
Preferably, though, something more solid than the Black Sea flooding,
which is still subject to considerable doubt.
