Howdy
I'm trying to find a mythological reference for a scene in an
incomplete play my grandfather was writing... It basically involves a
fight between the protagonist and two other god-like characters, one
male and one female. The protagonist is basically defending himself
all the time from the female's attacks with an axe, like he doesn't
know how to fight as well, until he sees a alucky opening and is able
to strike and kill her with his sword. Somehow both the female and the
male antagonists die at the same time as a result of the female's
death. Then some symbols are shown, a circle or sphere for the dead
ones, and a bird for the winning protagonist.
Does any of this ring a bell about some myth? It's supposed to be
based on something...
Thanks in advance for any help
=)
