You assume too much. I always consider that what I've been told could be
untrue no matter who tells me or what it's about. For instance, I
understand
the fallibility of human beings that allows people to occasionally not say
what they mean like "turn left up ahead" when they really meant right.
That's just an example but I find people unintentionally saying incorrect
things when I know they know the truth and are NOT trying to lie. I like
prophesies because I hate when something happens and someone said
AFTERWARD
that I should have expected it because of so-and-so prediction. Then I
feel
stupid for not considering that it could have come true. I believe that
there is some prophesy in every work of fiction (unintentional of course)
like the book about an unsinkable ****p that hits an iceberg and sinks,
decades before the Titanic went down. It is uncanny how often fiction
becomes reality. I believe that everyone has the ability to see the future
but most everyone ignores it or does not know how to interpret it. Your
skepticism is only limiting yourself. Don't mistake other people's
open-mindedness with blind faith.
