Today's news brought me back to the newsgroups after being away from them
for a couple years now. The news that I am referring to is the
assassination of the Iranian Shiite cleric diplomat in Baghdad. In the
news
report, it mentioned that several members of the US appointed council have
connections to the Shiite nation of Iran.
Iraq has a Shiite majority that has been oppressed by Saddam and the Sunni
minority. However, we are now liberating Iraq to give power back to the
Shiite majority. The Shiite majority will naturally be closest to Iran
because they are the Shiite majority of the Middle East, which is mostly
Sunni. Iran is also the most powerful Muslim nation, with the exception
of
Pakistan if Iran does not have nuclear technology.
With an Iran and Iraq alliance, this could lead to the unification of the
Middle East and the Muslim invasion of Europe. The deterrent against
Israel
would be US involvement which they already dread from US Marines.
Presently
in Ramadi, the US marines are being met by almost no resistance. They are
feared and rightly so. They were the main invasion force a year ago that
completely destroyed Saddam's regime with amazing ease. My brother was
there, and accounts of the fact he had only 1 MRE a day because they over
ran their supply lines.
Anyway, a free Iraq becomes a Shiite Iraq and a friend of Iran. It was
Saddam after all that hated Iran, not the Shiite Iraq majority. These two
nations join forces, and they will be the most powerful force in the
Middle
East. This will be accelerated if Kerry becomes president and withdraws
US
troops from Iraq immediately. Americans will be fed up with war at this
point, and Iran and Iraq could then take advantage of the situation and
begin WW3.
Just a few thoughts on the events leading to WW3.
