I am a Pagan who has just written her first E-book of Poetry. I thought
that
I might give you a sample of what types of poetry I have in it.
A METAPHORIC DREAM
It is night
The television is on.
The background is all black.
A photo on the TV.
Black and white
An innocent little boy
From the Hallmark card.
The one that holds the red roses
Missing.
His information is on the side.
Next scene:
A man
In his twenties
Hair styled like a palm tree.
A photo of him
Black and white.
The kidnapper.
Scroll of words
Fast-forwarding.
The words represent
Every single crime
This man has committed
Against humanity.
A million of them.
Next scene:
A baboon
On top of a frying pan
On top of a stove.
Close up:
A spoon
Being filled with sugar.
Cocaine.
Last scene:
The spoon being fed to the baboon.
The monkey slowly melts
Into a rattles****.
