CD REVIEW - Apple Venus

On one hand I feel guilty reviewing this CD. It has, obviously, been
around
for quite a while and therefore may not be easily available. On the other

hand there is one track, especially, that I really love listening to
("Green
Man"). This CD has been kicking around my daughter's collection for years

and every once in a while I get an urge to borrow it.

This is a sweet, mellow collection of songs which I like to listen to
either
on a lazy summer day, or as the rain falls gently, anytime of year. The
tracks cover a wide range of thoughts and emotions, from the frivolity of
daily life ("Frivolous Tonight") to an invocation of the Green Man ("Green

Man").

"Your Dictionary," if you take the time to listen, will make you pay
attention, both to the lyrics and to how you think about the world, and
your
relation****ps to it and to people.

I doubt that the majority of this album will appeal to a large number of
Pagans (but you never know). However, "Green Man" deserves to be a part
of
every Pagan's audio library.

I would recommend this CD as being one that I would consider adding to my
personal audio library.
