How 2 travel between parallel universes

by wetrover@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (marsrules) May 11, 2004 at 11:00 PM

"the translation invariance in the extra dimension(s) is restored in
their core, they act as 'windows' to the extra dimensions ... the Alice
strings ... encircling such .. one would get trans****ted onto a parallel
brane."

i.e. "parallel universe next door"

A few more comments on the paper below. It is very advanced and cannot
be read casually by the layman. A few short speculative half-baked
tentative comments, caveat emptor, on clues in the paper:

M-theory says 4-dim space-time "M4" floats in an 11-dim hyperspace or
"hyperverse" that contains many parallel M4 universes. 3-dim ordinary
space in each of these parallel universes is a special kind of "brane".
The 7 extra unseen dimensions of the hyperverse form a space "K~" not to
be confused with Puthoff's "K" http://stardrive.org/Jack/puthoff1.pdf
or
my K* which is the Divali K~ space distortion of Puthoff's K.

Note that "the parallel universes" of the classical hyper-verse are not
the same as David Deutsch's "many worlds" of his "multiverse" in his
book "The Fabric of Reality". The distinction only becomes clear in the
Bohm ontology. The classical parallel universes of the hyperverse are
for the Bohm "hidden variable" or "system point". The quantum many
worlds of the multiverse are for the qubit landscape on which the system
point flows. The flow is generally not holonomic. It is anholonomic.
What is anholonomy. When you parallel park you are taking advantage of
anholonomic mechanical constraints provided by the friction of the tire
to the road and the mechanical linkages. There are more global degrees
of freedom than local ones when you have non-integrable anholonomy. In
the present case, the unseen dimensions of the universe (Aug 2000
Scientific American, p. 62) are the global degrees of freedom, and the
local ones are how we move around in ordinary 3-dim space.

The n unseen dimensions in K~ space cause "hyper-defects" in Kleinert's
"world crystal" model of the 4-dim quantum vacuum. The perfect world
crystal is simply global flat Minkowski space-time M4 from Einstein's
1905 special theory of relativity of simultaneity with time dilation of
moving clocks, length contraction of moving rods along the direction of
their motion, and the equivalence of mass to energy.

http://www.physik.fu-berlin.de/~kleinert/kleiner_reb1/contents2.html

especially

http://www.physik.fu-berlin.de/~kleinert/kleiner_reb1/gifs/v1-1331s.html

Forgetting hyperspace for a moment, Kleinert shows that classical
unified field theory beyond Einstein's 1915 general theory of relativity
comes from two kinds of line defects. The closed string loops of
disclinations of the 4-dim quantum vacuum crystal cause curvature. The
strings of dislocations in the crystal cause a special kind of holonomic
torsion.

The above defects exist apart from the hyper-defects in Dvali's paper
below. The hyper-defects are "anholonomic" and relate more to Jim
Corum's "anholonomic object".
http://softwareresearch.org/projects/tsd.htm

Dvali et-al considers flat M4 and neglects the gravity and holonomic
effects of Kleinert. Kleinert's anholonomic multi-valued "super tetrads"
link up with the hyper-defects.

The hyperdefects of the 4-dim world crystal quantum vacuum are from
superconducting, i.e. macroscopic quantum phase coherent, spontaneously
broken translational symmetries, i.e. "isometries", of the K~ space of
"unseen" dimensions. The word "unseen" is a misnomer like Bohm's "hidden
variables". The unseen is about to be seen and the hidden revealed.

The 4-dim quantum vacuum "block universe" (world crystal) has stable
topological defects of multiple connectivity, i.e. non-trivial homotopy.
The 1-dim hyperdefects are "cosmic strings", the 2-dim hyperdefects are
"magnetic monopoles". These defects have an inner core structure like
the quantized circulation vortices in superfluid helium
http://www.physik.fu-berlin.de/~kleinert/kleiner_reb1/contents.html
and in Type II superconducting metals, and also in self-trapped laser
filaments in nonlinear optics in anisotropic crystals. The complex giant
Bohm pilot wave, i.e. phase coherent order (ODLRO) parameter vanishes
inside the core. The holonomic 1915 Einstein classical geometrodynamic
field ui of Diff(4) infinitesimal general coordinate transformations is
essentially the ordinary 4-gradient of the scalar field "theta" phase of
ODLRO parameter multiplied by the Planck area L^2. This is simply the
infinitesimal distortion field of the world crystal away from
perfection. The Planck area is 1 c-bit of Bekenstein-Shannon information
in the "quantum foam". This is Wheeler's "It from bit." Einstein's
metric tensor comes from the symmetric strain tensor uij of the
distortion field of the world crystal. Curvature disclinations come from
the antisymmetric wij rotation tensor or local vorticity of the
distortion field.

That is

Psi = |Psi| exp[i theta]

ui = L^2 theta,i

,i is ordinary partial derivative, i = 0,1,2,3

L^2 = (hG/2pi c^3)

G = Newton's constant of gravity
h = Planck's quantum of action
c = inertial frame invariant speed of far field transverse polarized
classical light in ordinary vacuum.

uij = (1/2)[ui,j + uj,i] = (1/2)L^2[theta,i,j + theta,j,i]

gij = 2uij

ds^2 = gij dx^i dx^j

is the starting equation of Einstein's 1915 GR. We now see the quantum
origin of this classical geometrodynamic equation.

wij = (1/2)[ui,j - uj,i] = (1/2)L^2[theta,i,j - theta,j,i]

How to get Einstein's theory from this starting point is shown in detail
by Kleinert in
http://www.physik.fu-berlin.de/~kleinert/kleiner_reb1/gifs/v1-1331s.html

OK now to hyperspace distortion of L -> L* in the Planck length L.

Looking at the "normal fluid" core of a topological hyper-defect that
distorts the above ODLRO parameter Psi in the world crystal, "the
translation invariance in the extra dimension(s) is restored in their
core, they act as 'windows' to the extra dimensions ... the Alice
strings ... encircling such .. one would get trans****ted onto a parallel
brane."
