You ask us to explain our beliefs. It really is pointless to throw seeds
on the parched Earth of these newsgroups but then again some day the
rain wil come, and who knows, maybe a seed or two will sprout.
Science has proven that the physical world is an illusion. There is no
SOLID matter. There is more empty space than particles that could be
called matter. Even these protons and neutrons are not solid and can be
divided. It is all energy assuming forms under the guidance of
something. Sometimes this guidance is in the form of a human hand whch
is itself a matter phantom. SpaceTime is the illusion created for a
purpose we can not fathom. Quantum Physics opens up the possibility of
parallel worlds(mutiverse) or in other words, completely valid spacetime
universes other than the one we appear to be in.
I don't want to give away too many specifics of my beliefs in this
forum as a weasel like ERIC V. GILL will find some way to charge people
$30 for it.
Let me say that those who seek power are those that feel powerless.
Those who seek to control are the ones who feel out of control. Those
who seek notice are the ones that feel unnoticed. The physical reality
we are in is based upon dichotomy.In quantum physics when a particle is
split into two connected particles(I really have a hard time explaining
how a particle can be two but still be one) these connected particles
will be polar opposittes.
Now we can take this quantum example and apply it to human social
interactions. If your Dad is a religious Zealot then there is a good
chance you will become an Atheist Zealot.
I guess what you want to know is how GOD does and doesn't exist at the
same time. It is the limitations of the spacetime illusion you are
living that makes this sound impossible.
To say that there is no God is just as valid and false as saying that
there is a GOD.
