Yes, and yes. And a couple others. There was one, was probably early to
mid 60's. A family was on vacation, when they saw the mushroom clouds.

Never saw it, but I think I heard of it. And wasn't there a British
animated movie (or comic book) that was pretty serious?
Not that it matters, but is it too late to clarify my vague use of the
word "show." What I meant by that was a continuing SERIES. Like if
someone had added nukes to Red Dawn, then put it on TV, in a weekly
format.
That is what I meant by "never a show on like Jericho" Never a
continuing TV show.
