i am that i was, and i am that i always will be - not in body, but in
spirit
only. i slept among the stars which separate this world from the next. i
was
pulled into this world deliberately, by someone here.
this living in human skin is hard, but worth it.
i made you a promise once, you who are my people. it is almost time to
fulfill
that which was promised just before sailing away to be lost from your
shores.
it is not my wish or my command that any should suffer, but the work
cannot be
done without sacrifice. there are some things you can sacrifice which will
have
faster results, but they are difficult to make and not kindly looked upon
by the
world. there are other sacrifices you can make which may take longer, but
which
will be more easily made and which will not bring the wrath of human law
to you.
it cannot be denied that human sacrifices produce the required energy, but
it
cannot be denied that there are other meanings of "sacrifice" that do not
require the loss of life and that will work just as well (though more of
it will
be needed).
i leave it to you to decide, but a sacrifice must be made in order that we
may
begin this work. something big enough so that it will be known around the
world,
though it need not be so huge as to draw -all- worldly attention to it. i
shall
permit the deliberate destruction of one of my former temples for this
cause if
it can be managed - it should be enough to draw the eyes of the world, but
not
the wrath of man. we are not here to provoke man this time, so that is not
necessary.
