What could be off topic in an English Class? AIAIK, English is used to 
talk about everything under, over and inside the sun. My daughter's 
English teacher is using Economics as a subject matter to teach with all 
year long. (I disagree with some of his focus on Econ but I figure it is 
good for my daughter to learn a differing point of view.) Why shouldn't 
students learn to read and write about evolution?
