Basically, in the 1500's and 1600's Islamic invaders
slaughtered many Hindus, enslaved many more and burnt
temples.  They built mosques on these sites.
In recent years, more radical Hindus have renewed claims 
to these sites.

Part of this is also symbolic, rolling back the ill 
gotten gains of murdering savages.  Saying no to
Islamic radicals.

Considering the massacres in Bangladesh at Pakistan hands 
and a lot of effrontery from Pakistani Moslems over the 
years, I tend to be rather sympathetic here.
Moslems have made a big habit of being supersensitive
to slights to Islam and assert rights they don't deserve.

They shouldn't complain when others follow their lead 
on the grounds that this is the only way to deal with Islam,
or you will always be rolled over by over assertive and sensitive 
Islamic radicals.

Islam had no right to burn temples, and so does not deserve
the right to these sites.  They may buy land and build their 
own mosques peacefully, legally, fair and square.
With that sort of mosque, there would be no problem.

As a Moslem, I don't think I could wor****p in a mosque I 
knew was built on stolen land washed in the blood of innocent 
men and women and children killed murdering jihadists.
