I can actually sympathize with someone objecting to
showing "Al Gore's" movie while there is still some
chance he might run for political office (and I'm
saying that as a Democrat who would probably
vote for him if he did); however, scientifically the
"controversy" involving global warming is over and
the notion that you have to present "the other
side" is just ludicrous - unless you consider
Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity scientists.

Also, I guess I should be past being surprised by
anything, but I'm totally mystified by what seems
to be a growing conviction that accepting the
reality of global warming is somehow "anti-
Christian".  "Frosty" (did his parents *really*
name him that?) isn't the first kook to argue this.
There's an analysis in WingNut about Ted Haggard's
fall from grace that say his problems started
not with his drug abuse or secret fondess for
male prostitutes, but rather - you guessed it -
with his unchristian belief in global warming:
