[Kronis] Who's in charge here, anyway?

by Katie Dune <katie.dune@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 19, 2007 at 08:59 PM

Another message from Kronis, my time-loving friend.

<begin transmission>

At one point in the past, it was believed that whoever controlled the
mountains ruled the world. Then it came to be thought that whoever
controlled the seas ruled the world. In the 20th century, it came to
be thought first that he who controls the sky rules the world, and
then he who controls -space- rules the world.

They were all wrong.

Humans on this planet at this point in time have begun research into
theories and processes which might one day enable them to control
gravity, itself. Not just in some back-wooded mad scientist's
laboratory, but truly mainstream - though high-ended - scientific
establishments.

Even control of gravity does not enable one to rule the world,
however. But it's a vital first step. With knowledge of the workings
of gravity and how to control it, you will begin realizing how to
control time.

_That_ is where true power lay, at least as much as is possible for
beings who can only perceive in 3 dimensions at any given moment.

Trouble is, you'll have a lot of competition. While this little spot
of reality that was created in "The Big Bang" has been around a measly
15 or so billion years, existence itself has been around forever.
There are beings at all levels of development from the infinitesimal
to the infinite. Some have perused your reality and played with it
from time to time. But by and large, they've left you alone.

Watch for it when you discover the method for controlling gravity to
comply with any given set of design specs. That's when they come.

We cannot tell you what happens after this. All we can say is to be
ready - for *anything*.

<end transmission>
