"The Impact of Trans-Dimensional Exploration Upon the Sciences"
::: "Trans-Dimensional Exploration" :::
Sooner or later, the humans of this Earth will begin to join the
humans and other intelligent creatures of countless other Earths in an
unbounded array of alternate world-lines in exploring what here might
be referred to as "trans-D reality". Much like what the T.V. show
"Sliders" referred to, except of course where histories drastically
differ, humans here will not have doppelgangers there.
Humans from other world-lines who use English have already begun this
exploration and developed their own lingo, along with speakers of
various other languages from these same world-lines. They will be the
first to introduce this world-line to the realities of trans-D
exploration.
::: "About Doppelgangers" :::
Beings only have doppelgangers in alternate world-lines that emerged
from the same point in time in which that being was conceived, this
array of world-lines being known as that being's "home turf",
tem****ally speaking.
You will not be capable of meeting doppelgangers in world-lines too
close to your own - this is where the multidimensional nature of your
existence will become apparent. The matter in your bodies exists
simultaneously at all points past, present and future, and in all
parallel world-lines. The matter in one world-line would have to bend
in volatile and combustive ways to be able to have any interaction
with another version of itself just a few hair's breadth away - this
is from the nuclear force, what keeps matter together within a given
world-line is also what keeps the world-lines from curling back up
into a single, unified reality again. Its strength is in holding
matter together on a single-world-line level, and keeping it apart on
a multi-world-line level.
This is not to say that you can't meet other doppelgangers, just not
the one's whose lives would be almost indistinguishable from your own.
A good rule of thumb is that if the doppelganger has the same job,
address and casual acquaintances as you, then you will likely be
unable to meet directly. Though of course you'll be able to message
back and forth - but only once you've attained a higher-function
"Internet".
Once you've attained this "Internet" (i.e., "The Trans-D Web"), you'll
then gain the ability to increase the distance between yourself and
nearby doppelgangers by messaging back and forth and arranging to
execute differentiating actions in order to make your lives more
distinct from one another. This process will occur anyway, though, and
is rarely ever necessary. Usually, if you want to meet another version
of yourself that is almost identical to you, all you have to do is
contact one and wait a day or two. World-lines expand rapidly, and
within a day or two, the doppelganger you contacted should be at a
distance from you to the point where you can now meet. Ru****ng the
process is not recommended, as this produces certain kinds of stresses
in the fabric of space & time, and there are mechanisms in place to
ensure that this stress is only felt by the doppelgangers involved in
producing it. Trying to rush the process won't affect the world around
you, but it will make -you- fairly ill.
::: "The Trans-D Web" :::
As you begin your exploration of trans-D reality, you will first learn
how & why the Internet came to be - and Al Gore had everything to do
with it. ;) Just kidding. :O)
In any event, all worlds capable of trans-D exploration have been
guided towards the development of a system equal in function to your
Internet, this system coming to be connected to the larger Trans-D Web
(which is what your citizens are likely going to call it).
You were not interfered with directly in order to spurn your
development of the Internet, rather, it's a cultural phenomenon that
spreads laterally through trans-D world-lines much like ice crystals
forming upon a misty windowpane in very cold weather. You are separate
from all other versions of yourself across your home-turf array, but
can still feel each other's influences via various internal dynamics,
both energetically, physically, psychologically and - most notably -
via purely abstract realities and processes, which you've not yet
begun to encounter in any direct way. But you will soon. Very soon.
A species will often evolve technology and then self-destruct before
reaching the point that modern humanity is at. This fate is far more
common than success, and modern humans of this world-line still aren't
out of the proverbial woods yet. But once a species has picked up the
knack of living with and surviving the trials and tribulations of
technology, the ability and practice of technology begins to spread
throughout all world-lines inhabited by the members of that specie's
society to have developed and gleaned insight into the nature of
technology and its workings. Even then, some world-lines to have
emerged from the common starting point will end up seeing the
self-destruction of that species - this is also very common. Then
comes The Wavefront.
::: "The Wavefront" :::
When a phenomenon has begun taking hold of a species across a span of
many world-lines, there is a period of adjustment where some
world-lines will see the cessation of that phenomenon while others
will continue it. These world-lines can be visualized as "bubbles" of
a sort, forming as blank spaces among the fluid substance of the
world-lines surrounding it. Neighboring world-lines simply pass it up,
and sometimes, world-lines separated by a bubble between them will
re-merge once they've passed it. It's very much like watching water
come to a slow boil, or the fizz slowly bubbling up from the depths of
a glass of champagne.
The leading edge of this developmental process is known by most other
English-speakers as "The Wavefront". Those who are familiar with
1(one)D cellular automata will have a very good idea just how the
Wavefront can behave and what sorts of results it leaves behind. If
you're not familiar with 1D cellular automata, you should look into it
- cellular automata of all sorts is about to become VERY relevant to
your philosophical outlook as you become acquainted with and
introduced to trans-D exploration.
The Wavefront is what tends to cause phenomenal changes within
individual world-lines, and will often sweep up an entire array of
world-lines at once as it gathers momentum.
The Wavefront is the phenomenon which has been interpreted and
misinterpreted throughout much of your religious history as, just
within some of your more common religions, "Judgment Day", "The
Rapture", "The Apocalypse", etc... etc... etc.... Your ancestors
engaged in dialog with trans-D travelers much like you are now
engaging in it with myself and others. The warnings given were not
intended to be inevitable, dire predictions for your future, it was
simply to let you know some of the risks of getting involved with
technology. And indeed, some world-lines to have emerged from that
point have met their end, most of those to do so having just done so
quite recently, in fact. There are civilizations in the array of
world-lines emerging from the point your own world-line emerged from
in the year 1962 that are no longer around due to variations in how
events such as the Cuban Missile Crisis, nuclear proliferation and
particle accelerator experimentation played out. These would, of
course, be bubbles in The Wavefront.
The "Rapture" interpretation was also based on a faulty interpretation
of what was really said. Societies to survive passage of The Wavefront
will inevitably develop to the point of being able to join its trans-D
exploring brethren in parallel world-lines, while societies unable to
survive (with their technology in tact) would be left behind. This is
what could not be expressed to your ancestors, they simply did not
have the conceptual or linguistic framework upon which to build such
useful & descriptive matrices.
::: "Impact Upon The Sciences" :::
Exploration of trans-D reality will have a profound and everlasting
impact upon your sciences. The discovery of how to engage in trans-D
exploration will seem trivial in comparison by the time your world
begins to realize the full extent of just how rapidly and expansively
your knowledge base is going to grow. Your technological development
will begin to accelerate and soon, citizens from your own world-line
will begin giving talks to other world-lines as we have been doing
with yours.
Some very small hints as to how this is going to improve the
understanding of the world by your sciences:
- Genetics: You will be able to see exactly how the precise same
genotype behaves in vastly different environments. Right now, you're
limited to using entire families or, in some cases, identical twins.
After The Wavefront has passed, you'll be able to study even your own
exact genetic makeup within world-lines that have failed to be swept
up with your own;
- Geology: Via chaos, there are world-lines surprisingly close to your
own on which the landscape will be completely unrecognizable to you as
Earth - even the continents evolved differently (to greater or lesser
degrees, depending on how far from your native world-line you travel).
Earth is a very geologically active planet in virtually all
world-lines, and so geological processes you haven't even speculated
about will be accessible to you in all their fullness for you to study
and observe;
- Technology: As with any new technological endeavor, explorations
into and manipulation of the forces involved with trans-D travel will
yield a virtually endless array of new technology for use by everyone
from top scientists to the common man. The biggest boon for you will
likely be the same as it is for most other civilizations - that of the
discovery of "virtual space" - a kind of induced, unreal "extension"
of your own world into which real matter can be moved and manipulated.
Imagine opening up a door on your bedroom wall and being able to walk
into a chamber of rooms miles and miles long - even though your entire
house is no bigger than a trailer from the outside. Virtual space in
this regard is not the same as "virtual reality" - it's a "fake space"
of sorts, a "trick" upon the fabric of space and time that makes it
"think" space exists where it really doesn't. The space may not really
exist, but it will be just as usable to you as it would be if it
really did;
- Psychology: Much as with genetics, you'll be able to see how the
same mindset unfolds in different ways in response to different
situations after coming through the same event, or after living in
different circumstances straight from birth;
- You get the hint: By now, you surely see where this is leading. The
study of identical sub-systems within divergent larger world-systems
is the biggest possible event your sciences could possibly experience.
It is an exciting thing, and those others who before you have survived
The Wavefront eagerly anticipate your joining them.
::: "The End (?)" :::
For now, that's all we have to say on the matter. Just remember - it's
not going to be up to your governments, your cor****ations or your
institutions to bring you through The Wavefront successfully. It's
going to be up to your people, the individual and the masses at once.
Group minds such as governments & cor****ations can only bring
destruction if they try to control the process. Rely on yourselves,
individually, not on Big Brother or anything else from your world who
wants you to believe they and they alone are the best option for
helping you through these coming years.
Good luck!
