Because atheism is not a way of life. It is not a moral code. It is LACK 
of belief in deities. Period.

Not as such. But people don't "turn to" atheism. It is LACK of belief in 
deities. You cannot "turn" to that.

Many atheists ARE atheist because they applied reason, common sense and 
looked for evidence. Didn't find any, so they now can be called "atheist".

The second part of the sentence is only said to those that want to 
missionize us. You can see a lot of that here in alt.atheism.

Usually, it's live and let live. They don't bother me or mine, I don't 
bother them and theirs. That's in the real world. But "real world 
theists" are usually not as obnoxious as the ones we get in here.

Some are. But then, a "Go away" and closing of the door is sufficient.
(Those buggers that come in pairs to your front door and want to talk 
about god? "Watchtower"? is that it?)


But that is not the kind we get in here. Here we get people that claim 
that they have scientific evidence and fail to provide it or provide 
nonsense and fallacies. And the worst part: It REPEATS itself endlessly.
