Our consciousness, the feeling of being alive, is
apparantly staying behind after we die, just like
the body.
Just as the body will eventually decompose, and the
water, carbon, etc in the body will be used again
as fertilizer in the ground, to grow new plants
to feed, and become, new animals and people.
In other words, the material in our body is recycled
by nature, and used to make future bodies.
Those future bodies will have a consciousness,
a feeling of being alive, just like we have right now.
It's a fancy way of saying we get reincarnated.
The feeling of being alive is simply a property of the body,
just like cold is a property of ice, and hot is a property
of steam.
Your body is in fact made of the same water and minerals
that other peoples bodies were made of in the past.
You may already be familiar with the water cycle, the same
thing happens with the solid parts of the body.
Since we will be back on earth over and over again forever,
we need to end world suffering so our next lives will
be as much fun as possible.
There is a lot of suffering in the world right now.
The majority of earths population lives in poverty.
Many people suffer and die.
The present system is way too bureaucratic to fix it.
It will only get worse as things are going now.
But we can fix it.
And you want to do this, before you die, so you don't end
up suffering in your next countless lives.
We need to use competition instead of bureaucracy
to provide incentive for the system to improve our lives.
What if the land was divided into regions that
were independently operated and compete with
each other to offer us the best lifestyle?
People could choose which region to live in.
The size of the region depends on how many
people choose to live there.
We use flexible borders so popular regions get
more land as more people move there.
Bad regions lose their land thus shrink
to nothing and go out of business.
Thus regions have a powerful incentive to
be good to the people, offering a higher quality
of life.
This is competition which has already been
well proven to give the best service
to the people.
Its just like the way retail stores compete
with each other to offer the best prices
to people.
Regions have to improve everything in your
life though, not just prices.
This is a lot better than the present system where
many people are stuck in areas with few jobs and low pay rates.
How long would a region stay in business if it
allowed companies to pay low rates to people?
Not long.
It would be replaced by a better system
that treats people much better.
You would see everything get better with
regional competition.
Most people will not have to move, since
all regions will know they have to provide a
good lifestyle to people, to keep them
and the land.
Regions would never be able to ignore people
and their needs, because people would move
to a better region and the bad region would
no longer have any land or be in business.
Competition is effective, if we can just put it to good use.
Here is how we can use it to benefit people:
Some of the regions will be owned and operated
by private companies.
Corporations have a strong incentive because of
their profit motive, so they will invest money
to advertise this and get it started.
They will buy land and find ways to make this work,
all because of the future profit. And we will benefit
from it because regions compete to give us a
better life than we ever imagined.
Companies used to compete to make money, even if that
meant selling you products that don't last long (so
you have to buy a replacement, generating more profit.)
Companies also pushed products we don't really need.
But now, companies can compete to give us the best region
to live in, which is something we do need.
Companies will now fall all over each other to offer us
the best life we can possibly have.
And we will be in charge because we can vote with our feet
and select what we really want.
This has the potential to offer unimaginable
benefits to all of humanity.
Regional competition would create all kinds
of innovations and improvements in peoples lives.
The chapter on regions explains solutions
to problems you may be thinking would
interfere with this working.
For example some people may not be able to
afford to move. Some good regions would
offer to pay moving expenses to get people
to move to the good region. They would
consider it an investment in their future.
See the chapter for a full description of
regions and how it can work very well.
All the problems and their solutions are
discussed in that chapter.
This can literally end world suffering.
Since corporations run some regions directly,
just look how much money corporations can save by
not having to bribe politicians anymore.
That savings of money can be passed on to us people.
There is a book with all the details of how this
can work and why we need you to have enough
people to succeed.
It tells of a group you can join free.
