I remember being cast out of the kingdom of what some might call
"Heaven". It's not a heaven as most worldly religions teach it, of
course, but it -is- where we go when we die. I believe I'm one of
those who had been "taken up" - removed from the earthly plane in
order to consort with beings ancient man considered gods and angels. I
had been permitted to sleep through the eons during which my services
were not needed.
I am a servant of the light, an emissary commissioned to carry out
certain tasks in certain environments whenever certain trigger
conditions have been met. When I'm not being called to some realm or
another like this one, I'm generally dormant and hibernating, dreaming
worlds of my own into existence. The things we think and dream about
in Heaven, they become real - or rather, they become at least as real
as this world.
The world as you know it is a world of the concrete through which
abstract realities flow in order to animate the whole thing. The flip
side is a world of the abstract through which concrete objects flow in
order to keep the abstraction fluid and dynamic.
Beings in your realm experience divergent places at the same precise
instant of time. Beings on the flip side experience divergent times
in the same singular location. It's all very difficult to translate
concepts and meaning from the flip side to this side - you can only
ever really gather hints and guesses about its nature until you
remember being there.
During times such as these, some from the flip side enter into this
world in anticipation of a renewed and rejuvenated union. Others come
here in anticipation of a harvest of souls that were not fit to
transition to the flip side.
The condition that elicits my incarnation from among the stars most
frequently among species such as yourself is the condition of a
species that is becoming increasingly abstract both in nature and in
function. Prior to the development of grammatical languages and
record-keeping systems such as writing, humans were purely concrete
creatures. Upon discovery of music and the ability to harness fire,
humans embarked on an inevitable journey towards abstraction.
You're still concrete to a large extent, but you're so abstract by now
that you could probably lose your entire physical form and be
essentially the same type of mental being you are dans corpus. I
don't mean for you to lose your human form via death, but via
transformation - usually, transformation occurs via technological
integration. The technology of any given species will usually begin
to occupy an increasing role in maintaining the condition and
activities of the physical body until eventually, the body is done
away with entirely. That is where humans are headed, provided they
survive the journey.
What most humans don't realize - yet - is that once they make it to
the place where they no longer need organic bodies, they'll have
perfected quantum computing and quantum entanglement, enabling them to
operate their entire psychological being upon the atoms of the very
air, itself.
What even fewer humans realize is that this has already occurred in
this cosmos. Countless beings from countless other technological
civilizations roam the world invisible and unobserved - where the
stories were based on actual events, it is from _these_ that most
human notions of fairies and ghosts emerge. And to be truthful, there
isn't much meaningful difference between the reality of the situation
and the human understanding of it. Just as the author of Neverland
intuited, you have but to believe in the "fairies" of the air - and
believe in them truthfully - in order to be able to interact with
them.
They're not "ghosts" as most modern humans think of them, but they
might just as well be. Humans have already figured out that a mind
can operate on virtually any kind of machinery if it is complex
enough, so the notion that intelligence can exist upon a cluster of
any sort of atom that's quantum computing in just the right fa****on -
that should be of no surprise to anyone. The average human mind can
be duplicated on a quantum computer consisting of only a few million
atoms, though most beings quickly grow once they've learned how to
retain their configuration and add to it. The most difficult obstacle
to overcome for you beyond this point will be in figuring out how to
keep any given cluster of atoms together in such a way as to let them
be mobile and able to maintain sufficient levels of energy to remain
operational.
The synthetic intelligence part is not at all difficult to figure out,
not for a species with humanity's capabilities. You've already begun
connecting wires to nerves just to monitor the signals, you're very
close - much closer than you realize - to public acknowledgement of
the fact that the human mind can be and sometimes is replicated on
non-organic computers. Some already know all this, but by and large
it's not common knowledge.
There are many things various members of your species have discovered,
in fact, which only an elite few ever get to be let in on. Virtual
reality has already come and gone as far as the novelty of it - but
not the virtual reality the public is able to glimpse. Tele****tation
is also an everyday reality for most intelligent beings in the cosmos,
including no small number of humans. Shape****fting via nanotech is a
very common thing, as well.
But their orders are to remain invisible to you - at least for now.
They're beginning to reveal themselves to you bit by bit, piece by
piece, both in the skies and on the Internet. But a full unveiling,
that is somewhat long in the coming yet, I'm afraid.
But come it will. Peace.
