Janus' Place - a mix of skepticism and belief

Hey there! :-)

My name's Bill, and I'm going to try something a little different. I
am a skeptic who channels past-lives.

Eh? Come again? Yup, you heard right! Let me explain. :-)

When I was a teenager, I had all these notions of myself as a psychic,
and that I could channel and that I could remember past lives and all
that sort of thing. These days, I've mellowed out, and I've come to
my more skeptical senses. I no longer believe in past-life regression
or channeling, but yet I still retain the ability to do both.

The really strange thing is that while I'm doing them, I believe
fully, and when I'm not doing them, I disbelieve fully. Talk about a
dichotomy. :-)

So I've decided to call the series "Janus' Place". If you want to
know why, look into the ancient god, Janus, and you should be able to
see - he was a two-faced god, one that was glad you came as you
entered, and another that was glad you were going as you left. There
are various interpretations of that, but "Janus' Place" feels right.

Yet for now, it's under my "DancesWithDeath" moniker. I think that
might remain, but it might be a little confusing if you're looking for
"Janus' Place" but have to type in:

"Dances With Death". There's a bit of history behind that name, too,
I'll tell you, but maybe later. :-)

For now, if you think you might be interested in watching a
non-believing skeptic channel past lives, feel free to hit me up. :-)
And also feel free to give feedback as to what you like or don't like
about the place.

I should warn the believers, though - as it is the "skeptical" me that
does the talking during the passive parts of the process, I will refer
to what I'm doing either as channeling or "method acting" - as a
skeptic, that's what channeling has come to mean to me, they are one
and the same. Though as a believer, when I'm in that mode, I will be
believing fully.

The use of terminology will confuse you, and you may not understand
how two completely divergent mindsets can exist within the same
individual. I do apparently have two personalities within me - a
believer and a skeptic - and neither seems to be winning. Want to help
decide which way such a battle could go? Give me a visit! :-)

Again, not much just yet, we're just starting out at this. There's
very little, but there's something to get started. Hopefully with a
little sup****t, I can take the "skeptical believer" concept all the
way. Let me know what you think!
