You say "moved to this new house", do you mean a new build,
or just that you are new tenants. If the latter, do you know anything
of the houses prior history, or why the previous tenants moved on/out?
There are simple remedies, like smudging, entending to more complex
rituals. Which is appropriate depends on what you are experiencing,
and how intense it is.
Can animals sense anything?
If it is cigarette smoke then it ought to trigger a smoke detector.
Any children in the family/house?
Did you experience anything similar at any previous address?
