The U.S. government sold war bonds to finance W.W.II. Why not sell
peace bonds to finance peace activities? (Such as micro loans to lift
people out of poverty, alternative energy research, a Peace Academy to
train people in conflict resolution, studenet exchange programs, and
securing Russia's nuclear weapons materials).
