Ah, now you get into politics, that is a different story. We don't do
lots of things because of politics. We wouldn't bomb the dikes in
North Vietnam. It would have starved them, and Ho Chi Min hated the
Chinese more than us. They would have intervinded, and neither side
wanted anything to do with China. ( We probably would not have fought
there if we would have just put him in charge in the first place.)
Nor the harbor where the Russian ****ps were unloading supplies. We
couldn't even fire our guns unless fired upon. After 50,000 dead, the
President and McNamara knowing they lied to us all, the kids
(including myself) saying I'm not going over there, we aren't going to
win, and have no intention of winning. We are getting into different
conversations. The Lt.s and Capt.'s in Vietnam are Generals now, they
have been in that trap. We don't WANT the countries, we just want to
profit from them. If Iran doesn't play nice, we will take them out.
If Saddam had played nice, he could still be torturing his own people.
ENTIRE Muslim world? You act like they have a Pope or something.
They are the most scattered religion in the world except maybe the
Buddhists. Destroy Iran's capability and see how the Sunnis stand up
and applaud. The Saudis might even drop oil prices for us.
Regards,
Ken Hogan
