We are a 'nation of peace', Bush, twice the attacker, claims.
We then wonder what a 'nation of war' looks like.

In Iraq, a Surge in U.S. Airstrikes:

=46rom Dresden and Tokyo to Hanoi, and now to Iraq's Mosul,
Basra and Sadr City as well as Afghanistan's tribal villages,
the US military has been "HOOKED ON AIRPOWER".
They know how to kill poor foreigners in their own countries.
It has been clear for some time that Western wars in the last fifty
years have become mainly bombing wars, and mostly colonial bombing
wars that is. Technological might that is used to kill tens of
thousands in their own country. For empire, oil and gas.
That bombing addiction will only grow stronger as US ground troops
gradually have to be withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan. To
compensate, the horrible bombing and killing will increase. It is a
well-known recipe --- for much more terror, death and destruction.
Baghdad's Sadr City has been partially destroyed and
the people chased out, and now Israeli-type walls are being
built so that the invaders can do their illegal work in 'peace'
in the so-called 'Green' Zone,
a true fortress/bastion of neo-colonialism.
Will the mass murderers at the top soon expand their gory
neo-colonial bombing wars in Asia even more?
All indications are that they plan to; maybe also for
political reasons: To help McCain and other Bush-type
repulsive people, and also to tie down the next president
- especially if he/she comes from the other party.
Bush, Cheney,Gates, Petraeus and Odierno have been
escalating their bombing violence in Iraq and Afghanistan
for quite some time. Of course with Petraeus soon to be the
new head of Centcom, it is very likely the bombing will increase
even more, both in Iraq and Afghanistan. And even in Somalia
and in Yemen we now see targeted US assassinations (aping
Israel?) of Muslim people in their own countries by US robot
airplanes (drones) - for the world to see, how foolish can you get:
It will drastically increase the resistance and the hate.
Are they doing this really on purpose, e.g., so the budget for
'defense'=3D permanent war can be increased even more?
Assassinations abroad to 'bring peace' via death from above:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080501/wl_nm/somalia_conflict_dc
'30 other people' killed, they say, but tens of thousands
are now furious, so what do you gain by this random
lawless killing abroad? Is that Bush and Cheney's only way?
Killing and more killing, and so spreading much more
hate and resistance? Are they stupid or plain evil?
The escalated bombing in Iraq and Afghanistan is the typical
reaction of a neo-colonial power stalled in a quagmire of violence,
a quagmire of its own making from which they can't untangle
themselves: They can't leave and they can't stay.
They also can't fight counter-insurgency, despite Petraeus'
claims of being a master in counter-insurgency.
They are doing just the opposite. They are using massive
amounts of airpower instead of using soft power.
It is mostly death and destruction from the air:
The opposite of how to fight a counter-insurgency which
is to 'befriend the people' and work with them in person.
It is not a surprise: They just don't have the brains for
real counter-insurgency. Petraeus may have written a
great book which has helped him get to the top, but
he surely is failing to follow his own advice.
So the recipe is sowing more death and destruction from above
and thus the hate and resistance will spread.
'Winning the hearts and minds' is just not on the table.
So they must call in (bombing) airstrikes all the time, even
in urban areas, which leads to widespread horrible
destruction and thousands of injured and dead. The fighting and
bombing is even done in densely populated urban areas in large
cities such as Basra, Baghdad, Mosul and other cities.
The large-scale destruction of Sadr City is in full swing, and
something similar happened in Ramada, Fallujah, Najaf and other
cities in previous years. Occupiers destroying huge areas of cities
in countries they attacked illegally. Even the nazi-occupiers
never destroyed so much in the countries they occupied.
Their lack of judgment and reason is very clear. And the media is
absent or silent as usual, or even helping to continue the
slaughter by deliberate omission or whitewa****ng.
The disastrous warmonger and egomaniac Donald
Rumsfeld is gone, but the next secretary of illegal wars
Robert Gates is now also fully in the camp and claws of the
neo-con mass murderers. Please read this article:
The last war and the next one
By Tom Engelhardt
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/JE06Ak04.html
In Iraq first they toppled the Sunnis and fought them for years,
now they are mainly fighting some of the ****ite groups, because
they finally began to realize they were really betting on the
wrong horse. Of course they have no idea what they are doing.
The war is a very costly stalemate and can never be won.
So they will surely escalate the bombing and killing,
exactly as what happened in Vietnam, another
horrible neo-colonial bombing war in Asia (1964-1973).
Destroying thousands of houses and buildings and killing
or injuring thousands of people in large cities, that will win
the hearts and minds, that will bring 'democracy',
that is 'liberation'?
General Davidicus Petraeus Bombardicus Asslickerius
testified on April 8 for Congress.
Of course the increasing violence was tied to his visit
and his many lies of omission to the American people.
Of course they were going to claim the troops must
stay ' a while' longer, another 5 years, another 10
years, another 100 years? Many more years to bomb
more Afghans and Iraqis in their own country?
More bombs to try to keep the oil assets in our bloody
hands? Mr Asslickerius will now be the new head of Centcom,
the reward for licking Bush's terrible ass so often.
Fallon: I hate weasels and suck-uppers like that.
Of course, Gates and Petraeus must escalate the bombing
war in Afghanistan and maybe even start a terrible
new bombing war on Iran after the November presidential
elections, but before the new president is installed on
January 20. They are both Bush and Cheney ass lickers.
In the end they will obey.
So with Fallon out of the way, it is still possible.
Cheney is well-known for his socio-pathic killer
tendencies, stemming from his serious heart problems.
He likes to take down hundreds of thousands more
with him. With all his power he can't stand his own
near-term mortality (and he is powerless to change that).
So in his sadistic and unreasonable anger he wants to
kill many more, especially thousands of young people,
in more orgies of violence.
We also remember Bush Sr.'s attack on Somalia in 1992,
just 3 weeks before he left office! Why would a
murderous president (1991 Gulf War 150,000 dead and
1989 Panama 3000 dead) suddenly decide to attack a dirt-poor
country in Africa just 3 weeks prior to leaving office?
Because it was their last chance to tie down the next president
(a Democrat) with more military expenditures and more wars.
So a sudden bombing war on Iran is still a real possibility.
Especially when you are led by madmen.
Petraeus is using helicopter gun****ps and rockets in crowded
urban areas like Sadr City. He is aping Israel's occupier
brutality and violence but now on a much larger scale.
Oh gory western occupiers, what have you become but mass
murderers in illegal and immoral colonial wars far-away
from our own shores?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080406/ts_nm/iraq_dc
http://news.yahoo.com/s/mcclatchy/2896968.
19 March 2003, clearly a day of eternal infamy in US history:
Over 5 Years ago Bush and Cheney started a second
terrible and more disastrous neo-colonial war in Asia.
The top scoundrel wanted to be seen as a 'commander-
in-chief'. That, he once claimed, was the key to becoming
a great president. Yeah, right.
And this 'man' will be in office for 225 more days:
To wreak more havoc, maybe even start a disastrous
bombing war on Iran, the third war Cheney is trying so hard
to unleash. A scoundrel for president, the opposite of
an enlightened world leader with global vision.
With a psychopathic handler-manipulator as vice president.
And soon with an ambitious ass-licker at Centcom.
A very very dangerous trio.
This is the list of the top Western war criminals
in the last seven years:
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Tenet, Rice, Powell, Wolfowitz, Blair.
Bush, the vain and incompetent leader made the final
decision to attack, so the blood of over a million dead is on his
hands. Two illegal wars abroad, guilty as hell.
Cheney, the evil manipulator who in the end was able to coach
and convince the dumbo Bush to start these two wars.
Rumsfeld, the alpha-type egomaniac, a main warmonger
and killer, sacrificing hundreds of thousands for his own ego
and for the military/industrial complex.
Tenet, the political weasel at CIA, always bending the truth,
and always giving evil leaders what they want.
Rice, the incompetent hardliner and warmonger, all
theory, but never showing any results, not at NSA, not at
State, but always willing to pacify the evil 'man' at the top.
Powell, the traitor military man, the only one who understood the
disastrous war Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld wanted to start,
but the coward obeyed (remember his lies for the UN) - to
salvage his own career. So he his guilty as well as he was the
only one who knew or could understand what was coming.
But the coward did not object, he even pushed the nation
into global strategic mistakes.
Wolfowitz, the Jewish professor, always in the service of
Israel and always in sup****t of killing more Muslims.
And finally Blair, the pious slick liar from Britain, who for oil
and military contracts kissed Bush's ass multiple times and
with that became a co-mass murderer. Guilty as charged.
Forever tainted by global war crimes because they instigated two
illegal wars of invasion, occupation and mass murder,
with no end in sight. They completely wrecked two countries,
for decades to come, so many hundreds of thousands died and
many hundreds of thousands more will have to die.
The unbelievable bombing carnage in Asia (Afghanistan
and Iraq) by American/European neo-colonial powers is never
analyzed and never even mentioned, we know why.
Asian lives especially Muslim lives do not count.
Their misery must stay hidden.
They can easily be demonized (=3D'deserving' their fate).
The main objectives in Bush's illegal, immoral and super-lethal
bombing wars 10,000 miles away in Asia (still) are:
1. Middle Eastern oil and gas - profits and more global power
(including military bases)
Even Greenspan acknowledged it's all about oil, power and profits:
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/JB16Ak05.html
(war on Iraq)
2. Caspian Region oil and gas - profits and more global power
(war on Afghanistan, military bases, resources in Kazakhstan,
Turkmenistan)
3. African (Sudan/Chad/Somalia/Chad/Algeria/Nigeria oil and gas -
profits and more global power (Bush visited Africa, we know why,
Africom is less than a year old and must still build military bases in
Africa) (war on Somalia, Chad and more to come)
4. Geo-political global access to/control over oil and gas
resources, pipelines, sea lanes, trans****tation conduits - more
global power (need to demonize Iran, Syria, Russia, and others in
Asia)
5. Keep Israel as a rogue military fort/wedge in the Middle East -
violence by proxy-state, global power, divide and conquer
For several of the above reasons, Western nations attacked at least
two countries in two of these far-a-way resource-rich regions, one in
2001, the other one in 2003. This does not even include the largely
hidden attacks on poor people in Somalia, with Ethiopian mercenary
armies and bombers we sup****t and help, and with our own aircraft
and unmanned killer drones).
They still keep bombing the two occupied Asian countries daily,
as many of the 'natives' do not want to bow or kneel for Western
invaders, ever. One would never know about the mass killing from
the air from the complicit mass media, experts in omission
and deception, mindless masters of Pentagon plagiarism.
So the bombing and killing by American, Canadian, British/French/
NATO and Australian, mostly white Anglo-Saxon invaders/
conquerors/occupiers of two sovereign Muslim countries in
Asia is continuing unabated ---- and largely unre****ted.
They are still trying to 'pacify' two invaded countries and squash
the legitimate rebellion of darker skinned, poor, non-Christian
people in their own countries. As has happened in so many
other horrible colonial bombing wars in the past.
The invaders will continue to kill more Afghan and Iraqi
citizens in their own countries every day,
'to liberate them for democracy' or
'to win the hearts and minds' or
'to help them re-build their country'
of course BY RAINING DEATH FROM THE AIR !!!
Using the usual weaponry of technological barbarians.
'Technological might makes right' - which then makes
mass murder possible and acceptable.
One would never know the real picture from the mass media:

bombed to death in their own countries. This number
does not even include the thousands of civilians killed
when they bomb buildings and houses. Assuming 2
civilians killed per bombing raid (again a low estimate),
then 31,000 civilians suc***bed in just 5 1/2 months.
That is approximately 6000 per month, a number
that is much higher than the number killed by suicide
bombers and other sectarian violence..
Many will question these estimates, but a 500lb or 1000lb
or 2000lb bomb can destroy several buildings in one single
raid, buildings that often have many civilians in them.
They cannot be seen from above, from the attacking airplanes.
So the mass killing continues and we will never know the
real toll. But my estimates are probably way too low.
And this bombing and killing continues day in, day out,
with no end in sight, and likely for years to come.
Since October 2001 =3D now over 6 1/2 years in Afghanistan!
Since March 19, 2003 =3D now more than 5 years in Iraq!
A rough estimate of 2500 dead per week gives a gruesome
total death toll of over 130,000 resistance fighters and
65,000 civilians bombed
to death in Afghanistan and Iraq ---- EVERY YEAR ---- !
200,000 bombed to death by invaders every year.
Of course this is never mentioned in the media. We will
see estimates of civilian deaths and deaths from
sectarian violence, but our own much greater violence
is always omitted, always omitted. We know why.
This toll does not even include all the civilians burned to death
or crushed to death or buried alive when the terrible bombs
flatten the thousands of buildings and houses. They will
always claim it to be 'collateral damage', which somehow
is supposed to make it right. So the total death toll,
including all civilians, must be in the range of 70,000 -
110,000 in just 163 days. Maybe the toll is much higher,
but certainly not lower. This is at least thirty times the
number killed in suicide bombings and sectarian
violence. So we know for sure who the bigger mass killer is,
by far: It is the invader/occupier.
The slaughter in Iraq and Afghanistan is much worse than
the Russian slaughter in their brutal war on Afghanistan
in the eighties. With the 'modern' and much more lethal
and precise bombing the scale of the mass
killing is at least triple. And all that in two illegal immoral
and shameful Western neo-colonial resource wars.
You would never know this from the mass media owned
by large cor****ations, obtaining huge profits from weapons,
bombs, oil, permanent wars, of course
always at the government's troughs=3Dtaxpayers expense.

The usual lies, omissions and distortions from the BBC:
Musa Qala - Calm after fight for Afghan town
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7146440.stm
And what really happened: The British bombing an Afghan town
with mortars and driving the people out, and that will win the
hearts and minds? It is clear the Western invaders have learned
nothing in more than 6 years.
British 'success' under siege in Afghanistan
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/South_Asia/IL15Df03.html
The war on Afghanistan is illegal; the attack, invasion and
6-year occupation are all illegal under international law
and totally out of pro****tion with the WTC mass murder
by stateless terrorists. There were no Afghans on the
airplanes on 9/11. The attack and permanent
occupation and continuous bombing of this dirt-poor
country is total overkill. Punishment yes, 6 years
of occupation, conquest and bombing is immoral,
illegal and very ill-conceived, as it will never win
the hearts and minds of a proud and fiercely
independent Asian nation. They hate foreign invaders,
and with reason. So the Western conquerors
will bleed and bleed, a small trickle at a time,
but finally the invaders will not be able to stomach the hate,
the dead and the cost any longer.
Why expanding the war on Afghanistan now,
sup****ted by both democrats and republicans in
Congress, is sheer foolishness. They are in an
unwinnable war in Iraq and now they think they will
have an easier victim in much poorer Afghanistan?
This article describes where the dummies and
stupid gullible warmongers will be going with this:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20080403/cm_csm/yfriedman
Around a 100 bombing raids on Afghanistan and Iraq
already, every day, day in, day out. And they think more
of that will help, is good and the right thing to do?
How wrong and non-thinking can you be?
Every day we are told about new sectarian violence or suicide
bombings or IEDs by Afghans or Iraqis. Never about the much
larger killing we do every day. So the m***** are kept ignorant
and have really no idea of the daily human carnage and the wide-
spread destruction by our aircraft, missiles, napalm and bombs.
Did you notice we never see the bodies, never the effects of
our bombs, never the real horrors of war, never the destroyed
cities, never the destroyed houses, never the wounded,
never anything caused by our own gory and immoral violence?
Of course the Pentagon has thousands of photographs,
records and satellite pictures of the bombings and other
destruction and devastation, but none of them will ever be
shown by the collaborating cor****ate mass media.
The number of dead does not even include the many
resistance fighters and civilians killed each day by other occupier
violence, such as by cannon fire or missiles from helicopters,
by helicopter gun****ps, by mortars, by machine guns and snipers,
and maybe even by the always ongoing torture in prisons.

right to throw the conquering Western invader/occupiers out).

Losing the 'other war' in Afghanistan?
By Karl F. Inderfurth
Published: May 29, 2007
WA****NGTON:
Controversy rages over the war in Iraq, but what about the so-called
other war in Afghanistan, for which there is immoral bipartisan
sup****t in the United States and in the international community?
Is there a danger of losing in Afghanistan? The answer is yes.
My question: A 'danger'? That's silliness:
It is not a 'danger', it already is a fact:
This colonial war was lost a long time ago. As it was never about
winning the hearts and minds, but always about oil and gas and
pipelines and new military bases and access to Central Asia's
resources, i.e., about geo-political power and greed.
It is just a matter of time and the Western colonial invaders can no
longer sustain the slow but permanent and persistent bleeding in
money and casualties and will be forced to leave.
First, however, I'm sure they will kill many tens of thousands more.
We have seen immoral bombing wars and millions of dead before:
In Vietnam, another ill-conceived, immoral and illegal colonial
bombing war on darker skinned non-Christians in their own country.
3 - 4 million perished in the American orgy of colonial violence
in Asia. And a new horrible and racist orgy of violence by western
nations is happening again, now even in two countries in Asia
simultaneously.
There is no question whatsoever who or what the real
'axis of evil' is:
American and European and Australian, so-called 'Christian',
mainly Anglo-Saxon nations attacking, then illegally
occupying two dirt-poor foreign Muslim countries in Asia,
10,000 miles away from our shores.
Invaders who after more than 6.5 years of bombing Afghanistan and
more than 5 years of bombing Iraq still continue to bomb more
Muslim people to smithereens in their own countries.
And we know why.
UTTER CONTEMPT and TOTAL CONDEMNATION
When will we finally stop visiting so much horror on Iraq
and Afghanistan? A horror of now up to one million dead,
333 times the number of dead on 9/11.
9/11 being the liars' fabricated excuse for two senseless,
racist, illegal and immoral neo-colonial resource wars.
What a mass murder, what a shame, what a disaster,
what a misery, what a waste, what a crimes.
4000 young US soldiers killed, an estimated 30,000(!) injured.
Over 1 million Afghans and Iraqis killed. Tens of thousands
new orphans, hundreds of thousands injured, tens of
thousands homes destroyed, all in countries OCCUPIED
and being devastated by us.
"IMAGINE ALL THE PEOPLE.................
LIVING LIFE IN PEACE.........................."
We miss you, John, and we are very sad, you could have
energized hundreds of millions of people all around the world
and that wave of peace, defiance, condemnation and
resistance could have stopped the warmongering bastards.

DISPATCHES FROM AMERICA
The last war and the next one
By Tom Engelhardt
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/JE06Ak04.html
The last war won't end, but in the Pentagon they're already arguing
about the next one.
Let's start with that "last war" and see if we can get things
straight. Just over five years ago, American troops entered Baghdad in
battle mode, felling the Sunni-dominated government of dictator Saddam
Hussein and declaring Iraq "liberated". In the wake of the city's
fall, after widespread looting, the new American administrators
dismantled the remains of Saddam's government in its hollowed out,
trashed ministries; disassembled the Sunni-dominated Ba'athist party
which had ruled Iraq since the 1960s, sending its members home with
news that there was no coming back; ..............
We are a nation of peace, according to Bush, twice the attacker.
Will he set the world on fire one more time, a third time (Iran), and
kill tens or even hundreds of thousands more in a new orgy of
violence?
The murderous duo still has 219 days =3D 7+ months for new
war crimes.
