Define "military presence" Does this count USMC Embassy Guards? The US
Navy weather stations in Greenland? Two field grade officers and a
small staff posted to Outer Wayouttherestan to train locals on the
equipment their government has bought? How about US troops taking part
in UN or NATO missions? Troops get around, and some of these presences
are as simple as US troops attending training in a nation.

Oh, a short list of nations having a military presence in the US:

Germany.
Canada.
The United Kingdom.
Japan.
Saudi Arabia.
Jordan.
Egypt.
Republic of Korea.

All these have a significant number of troops assigned inside the US
at any given time. Germany maintains an entire Luftwaffe squadron at
Holloman AFB for training
