Eh. Since I didn't give them exclusive rights, I'll post the text
here. Note that Frank Wu drew a really cool picture for the Seattle
bid for the World Science Fiction Convention in 2011, of space
vehicles surrounding the Space Needle as if it were the space ****t,
and when I saw it on his livejournal I wrote the below as a comment.
The Seattle Worldcon bid asked if they could use my poem with Frank's
drawning, and I agreed. It's a pastiche of a Dr. Seuss poem that I
really liked.
When the Needle Beetles battle
In the sky above Seattle
Do they battle with their butter?
Or a weapon that's a cutter?
If the rain makes it all wetter
Is the beetles' butter better?
When the butter battle's over
Do they land and eat some clover
So their butter will recover
And their battle when they hover
Will be better than the Needle Beetle Butter
Battle ever was before?

Smartass by nurture as well as nature. Oh yeah, and I'm contrary, too.
