We all have an innate right to pursue happiness, it's a basic human
right that comes from simply being human. And therefore we have the
innate right to have *****, because that is the expression and the
sharing of the deepest love of all, the soul-to-soul love that binds
us to our family. Mother and son, father and daughter, sister and
brother, sister and sister, all belong together in a way that is not
developed in unrelated love, the love between a person and a stranger
who they only met just a few years ago.
Happiness comes when the outer self, the conscious person who relates
to the world, is in harmony with the inner self, the soul with its
idealistic longings, which speaks inwardly to us as impulses from our
conscience and our intuition. Our basic human nature is to love and be
loved, so the greatest happiness is developed by acts which are in
harmony with love, and loving kindness to others.
Money, and the acquisition of material goods, and *** without love,
just give us tem****ary excitement, which only lasts while you're
getting it, then leaves you wanting more. But the happiness that comes
from love is deep and permanent and everlasting. It literally heals
your soul.
So to sum up, our right to the pursuit of happiness is the right to
experience love, and the deepest love of all is the love of family,
the love between family members, and its natural expression which is
*****, a love which is divine.
