Officially, yes, but I wouldn't be surprised if I never heard from
her again. 

My mind tells me she has probably done me a favor by declining to 
continue as we were going. There were aspects of me I would have
had to change fairly radically, and I wasn't at all sure I could
have managed it.

And now, as the Czech communists used to say, zpatky ni krok (not a 
step back!).
