If I had oodles more spare time, I'd be working on our local garden
club to do vegetables instead of flowers in the public spaces they
take on.
You'd think people in a small town would all have access to
garden land, but they don't; I'd like to see community gardens, too. I
loved the pumpkin growing, accidentally, I'm pretty sure (but left to
grow) on the sidewalk outside the Moose Club, Main Street in downtown
Warsaw, a couple of years ago.
