I will go to great lengths, and undergo a huge amount of pain in order
to try to clarify communications. Understanding and communication are
*hugely* im****tant to me. Calling them "sacred" is not out of place,
but I think it understates the issue. 

I believe Aahz is fully aware of this. 

And I believe he chose his words accordingly.

I was annoyed with his first response. I don't think his complaint
made any sense and I was snarky, pointing out precisely why I didn't
think he was making sense. 

But the second struck me as a malicious attempt to hurt me, a
selection of the words he expected to be the nastiest to say, in order
to cause the most damage possible.

That is why I had the reaction I did.
